The Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes area businesses on the basis of the Community Impact, Business Management and Personal Impact.
Awards given to:
Business of the Year (more than 5 employees)
Small Business of the Year (five or fewer employees)
New Business Spotlight (a Faribault area business for less than three years)
*Nominees must be members of the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce to be eligible
Nominees will be judged in the following three categories; however they need not exhibit outstanding performance in all categories to win.
Recognition will be given based on three primary areas: Business Impact -Exhibits growth, sound management practices and ethical business practices -Is innovative in it’s product or service area -Demonstrated job creation and commitment to workforce in Faribault area Community Impact -encourages opportunities for employees to contribute to the community -provides community leadership and is involved in community activities Personal Impact -provides family friendly work environment providing benefits, along with concern, commitment to employees and families -provides a supportive work environment with on-going training for employees • promotes diversity in the workplace
