GROW Faribault

GROW Faribault is the business retention and expansion effort of the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce. It is conducted in partnership with the statewide initiative GROW MINNESOTA.

Goals of the GROW Program

• THANK firms for doing business in the community and contributing to the local economy
• LEARN about their business goals and challenges, and help them address any specific issues and to make business to business contacts for mutual benefit
• IDENTIFY community issues that affect the business community in order to advocate on behalf of business
• SHARE information with our statewide partners to build the business agenda for Minnesota

GROW – Faribault – 2010 Strategies

• Work cooperatively with community partners on identifying firms to visit
• EDA members and City Council members serve on the visitation team
• Share information with all community partners
• Reach out to companies with distant ownership
• Schedule follow up meetings around key concerns 
• Follow up immediately on all requests for action or information with appropriate agencies and individuals
• Alert EDA Action Response Team as needed
