On Friday October 7, over 100 students connected with 20+ representatives from Manufacturing and learn about what is Made in Faribault, how it is made, what skills are required and how to acquire those skills!
Special Thanks to MRG Tool and Die, Mercury MN and SAGE Electrochromics for opening their doors to student tours. Also thanks to the instructors at South Central College for providing tours of the manufacturing labs.
The program featured remarks from South Central College President Dr. Annette Parker, and George Chapple, from SCC Center for Business and Industry.
Partner in the program include: Faribault Public Schools, South Central College, Workforce Development, DEED, Dream It Do It! and the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce.
Thanks to the many manufacturing representatives who spoke to the students about the careers available in manufacturing facilities in Faribault.
