2017’s Fall Festival was a HUGE success!
Faribault was full of fall fun this past weekend during the Annual Faribault Main Street Fall Festival!
The fun began with a children’s parade which included The Shattuck St. Mary’s Crack Squad, the Kona Ice truck, and a large amount of kids in costume marching with their families. The kids then had the chance to enjoy some downtown Trick or treating at participating businesses and go to the haunted basement tours at the Paradise Center for the Arts. There were also plenty of other children’s activities including pumpkin painting, ring toss, whipped cream eating contests, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin relay, ball toss, limbo and more!
The chili contest was close this year-just 8 votes separating the top two contestants, and Ryan Knott taking home the trophy for the third year running. Attendees could also vote on best decorated chili booth, and this year Heather Neal and April Neal won with decorations supporting the Zombie Pub Crawl, (click here for more details)
Other events that took place that day included the Faribault Foods Fall Frolic 5k fun run/walk and the Faribault Park and Rec History Walking Tour. Plus, Pawn MN celebrated 7 years by grilling and having music!
