Faribault Community Co-op presented a $9,573.43 grant to The Faribault Fire Department, October 5th
The funds will support replacement and addition of new equipment for specialized rescues including Grain Bin. “We’re proud to support this project as a way to strengthen the community and see it thrive,” says Kelley Watts of Community Co-op. “Projects like this are essential to enriching our rural area and the people who live here.” The grant, written by Kelley Watts was provided by CHS and called Seed of Stewardship.
Fire Chief, Dusty Dienst stated that the grant allows them, (The Faribault Fire Department) to purchase items on their “wish list”, replace items and provide more equipment to on-call firefighters.
Of special note, no on-call firefighters are in the photos, because they received a call just prior to the photo session. Thank you for all of your hard work keeping us safe! Special thank you to Community Co-op for your dedication to making our community safer!
