17 emerging leaders participated yesterday in 2017’s last Faribault’s Future Class Day
The 17 participants spent the day yesterday touring the Faribault Police Department, learning from featured speakers, Lisa Sammon- Lighthouse Strategic Solutions and Brian Knutson- Faribault’s Future Leadership Director, and touring the historic Faribault Woolen Mill. Throughout the year, the students have learned from a variety of community leaders, visited the state capital, and toured many Faribault businesses. Registration for the next class is open now. The purpose of Faribault’s Future is to identify emerging leaders, to develop and broaden their knowledge of the community and inspire them to become leaders within Faribault. The class meets monthly from September to June and each session features presentations by acknowledged community leaders and experts in specific fields, as well as group discussions, hands on experience and team building activities.
Registration deadline for the 2018 class that begins in September 2017 is coming this summer.
