The Faribault Y-Pro program hosted a panel of City, County and State Officials
Faribault Mayor Kevin Voracek emceed the event and the panel included Faribault Police Chief Andy Bohlen, Representative Brian Daniels and Chamber President Kymn Anderson.
Following introductions and an overview of current roles and what prompted each panelist to pursue their current role, the audience had a chance to ask questions which covered a wide range of areas. There was discussion into how Faribault’s proximity to I35 affects a variety of matters, current tasks underway, struggles and victories of each role, and encouragement to keep engaging, learning more, volunteering, supporting, and getting involved in the efforts underway to make Faribault an even better place to live, work, and visit.
Faribault Young Professionals is a group that coordinates, collaborates, and promotes events around Faribault to build relationships and opportunities, provide educational and professional development, build awareness of local issues, contribute to the community, and keep young professionals living and working in the area.
